Legal

Terms

Last updated 29 August 2026

These terms cover use of this website and describe the general shape of an engagement. They do not replace a signed agreement — every piece of paid work is governed by its own contract, and where the two differ, that contract wins.

Using this site

The content here is provided in good faith for information. Prices, response times and service descriptions are indicative and may change; what binds is the quote or agreement you sign.

Quotes and estimates

Estimates are ranges based on the information available at the time. A fixed-price quote holds for thirty days and covers the scope written into it. Work outside that scope is agreed and priced separately before it starts.

Support plans

  • Plans are invoiced monthly in advance.
  • Included hours are per calendar month. Unused hours roll over for one month and then expire.
  • Response times apply during stated working hours and to issues reported through the agreed channel.
  • Either side may cancel or change a plan with thirty days' written notice.

Prepaid hour blocks

Blocks are invoiced on purchase and valid for twelve months from that date. Hours are drawn down in fifteen-minute increments against development, review, advice or incident response. Unused hours are not refundable but may be transferred to a support plan.

Payment

Invoices are due within fourteen days unless the agreement says otherwise. Israeli clients are invoiced in ILS with a full tax invoice; international clients in USD or EUR. Prices exclude VAT, which is added where it applies.

Intellectual property

On full payment, you own the code written specifically for you. Pre-existing tooling, libraries and general know-how remain mine, with a perpetual licence granted to you for anything embedded in your delivered system. Open-source components keep their own licences.

Confidentiality

Anything I learn about your business during an engagement stays confidential, indefinitely, with or without a separate NDA. Client data is never used to train models. Engagements are only referenced publicly with permission, which is why several on this site are unnamed.

Use of AI in delivery

Software is delivered using AI-assisted engineering. Every generated change is reviewed, tested and owned by me before it reaches your system, and responsibility for the delivered work rests with me, not with a tool. Where an engagement restricts which code or data may be processed by third-party services, that restriction is agreed in writing and honoured.

Liability

Work is carried out with reasonable skill and care. Liability is limited to the fees paid for the engagement giving rise to the claim, and excludes indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law

These terms and any engagement are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, unless a signed agreement states otherwise.
